Deciding to see a psychologist can be a scary decision! It is important to me to create a supportive, empathic and trusting space for my clients to explore their possibilities for change and growth. The therapeutic relationship should be a meaningful connection, where a client is able to authentically connect and engage in self-exploration. I offer both short term and more longer term therapeutic processes.

Every therapy process is tailor-made to suit the needs of each client, with an integrative therapeutic approach. This means using a variety of therapeutic mechanisms in therapy, including systems theory, interactional pattern analysis (IPA) and psychodynamic grounding. This means that therapy focuses on the recognition and development of the self, with a consideration for the self in relation to the other.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy may also be integrated where indicated.

My offices are located in Midstream, at Midstream Hill Medical Park, with easy access from Midrand, Centurion and surrounding areas. Online session are considered upon request.

As humans, we do not exist in isolation. Our relationships with others directly impact our mental health; the way we perceive, experience and understand ourselves. When therapy focuses on interactions in the here-and-now, improved relationships mean better mental health.

““We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.”

Carl Rogers
